In the article Michigan State is slated at the bottom or near the bottom of the conference. Ryan and Anthony push back a little saying with the new coaching staff and a favorable beginning and end of the schedule, Michigan State should be able to surprise a few people and return to being bowl eligible this season. In the article, The Athletic has Michigan slated 4th in the Big Ten for the upcoming season with Penn State ahead of the reigning National Champions. Anthony and Ryan look at the schedules of both teams and can see why it’s not too crazy to see the Nittany Lions “outperform” the Wolverines this season.
